Bernie Morgan

The eclectic and multi-talented Bernie Morgan is one of the few female finance speakers working the UK, she has a hugely impressive background working in both public and private finance as well as passion and dedication to charity, women’s rights and individual skill development. The Chief Executive of the financial representative of Community Development Finance, the CDFA, and Bernie is highly qualified and experienced in providing financial advice and facilitating financial development, this experience makes her work as a keynote speaker both hugely informative and incredibly effective.

A respected financial expert Bernie is a member of HM Treasury's Financial Inclusion Task Force as well as the Charities Aid Foundation's Giving Forum as well as an Advisor to the Commission on Unclaimed Assets. Her experience in both the public and private sectors have provided Bernie with an insight into all aspects of the financial services and she is available as a finance speaker for events in both areas of the industry. Bernie’s experience as a government advisor has also given her an insight into the inner workings of both the national and international governments and the way they deal with money and investments. In her work as both a private advisor and after dinner speaker Bernie shares these insights and discusses the potential positive outcomes of using a variety of financial management methods.

Much of Bernie Morgan’s work, as a finance speaker and both with the CDFA and as a Board member of Transact, the national forum for financial inclusion, centres on fairness within the financial industry; she strives to support small businesses and, during the recent credit crunch has championed the work of small banks and investment companies. Bernie has also appeared as a keynote speaker at women’s events, including working for the charity Stand Up For Women explaining that she stands up for women both in her work as a UN, UK and International government advisor as well as in her involvement with various social enterprises. When she isn’t working as an after dinner speaker Bernie Morgan spends her spare time doing charity fundraising and is also a stand-up comedian in her spare time.
